Who makes the best remote system in the $500 to $1000 range. Looking for something that mounts the antenna in the front and rear but the warning system itself I can hide.

I have the Bel RX75 Pro remote and have been very happy with it. It is almost exactly the same as the Escort Passport (all one company now) that my wife has in her SUV. There's more information (including pics) in this thread (http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=604356).
I used to have a K40 remote and it worked okay but it doesn't have a signal strength meter or even lights to indicate band - you have to be able to interpret the audible warnings.
