how hard would it be to make them work my buddys got a 74 nova w/383 stroker will the ls1 heads fit it and with what modifications?

the only he will be able to use lsx heads is if he swaps to an ls motor
other than that, there is no way to use the lsx heads, on any sbc

No way unless he uses an LS1 block. Head bolt holes are different, head sealing surface is different. Not viable.

No, those LS1 heads will not work, but I've got some Briggs & Stratton heads that might work...............HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! :jest:

...why is he wanting to spend all that money on stock LS1 heads anyways?! he could go buy some little chief's for the price of what he is wanting to do.

Don't laugh guys it's been done! I'll look into it, not sure it was worth the headache, but it's been done, My meticulous machinist (circle track) told me he knows someone that did it, believe he said they redrilled the block! I'll look into it, sounds weird but this guy wouldn't say it if it wasn't true! :confused:
