Ok It's not for an LS1 but it is for my DD the cooling fan switches are bad and I don't feel like paying 89.95 for a new switch. Here is what I want to do.
I want to hook the cooling fans up to a switched source so they are always on.
However I want to make a pack that allows the fans to stay on for 15-30 seconds after I shut the car off.
So I'm guessing all I need is a capacitor that holds power so once the car turns switched source turns off then that capacitor runs the fan or is there more to it than that. I'm not an electrical genius by any means but I know how to solder and crap like that.
