iam building a 388 stroker with around 450hp and a 150shot...would i be able to use a Eagle cast Steel Crank for this.....

If the lower end is assembled perfectly, you SHOULD be okay. Make sure the crank is perfectly straight, and journal clearances are exact. Tripple check thrust and rod side clearances and spare no expense on the balance job.

yes u should be fine i have had a cast steel crank in mine for 3yrs now and i make 485 on motor an spray 350hp to it and it have lived so far

any one is spraying 150sht on top of a 400+hp motor.....

Might want to check out the Scat Series 9000 cranks. They claim they are 20% stronger than stock cast. They are a tad more $ than a cast Eagle or Scat but might be worth it. For my 355 I bit the bullet and bought a 4340 so I don't have to worry about the bottom end.

Balancing and clearances are vital to a long life shortblock.
