Stereo & Electronics - speaker sizes

Hey guys. I went online to ebay and looked up the alpine type R 6.5" speakers, but when I put in 1998 firebird 2 door coupe it came up saying that they would not fit. I have a v6 98 firebird and was pretty sure that 6.5 inch speakers would fit. Can anyone give me a hand here, will the type R's fit in all four speaker locations (i dont have the monsoon)? Thanks

6.5" will fit, i have 6.5 alpine type s in my front doors and infinity 6.5" in my backseat. stock speakers are really like a 6.75" so the screws may angle a little in the backseat but front doors lined up pretty good. have this setup in my 99 w/ monsoon and had the same setup in my 94 w/o monsoon.
