Just curious on these things. I've tried to read all I could about them and they just on't make a whole lot of sense to me. Has anyone with actual track times ever compared those times to the gtech. Or mbe dyno sheet vs gtech?? Just curious if it'd be worth the money. Thanks!

0-60 and quarter mile times are "accurate within 1/10th of a second" according to gtech, and gtech reads a few mph....

as for hp. they are just esimations based on vehicle weight and time it took to complete the quarter... so they dont figure in for gearing, and it is net hp.. with a gtech you have wind resistance and every thing else

It varies. I've used one while running some hot laps at a Drag strip. It's accuracy was close a couple times and way off a couple more.

They even say in the manual to make multiple runs and throw out the highest and lowest and do an average of the runs. So, it's not as accurate as they advertise.
