Hey guys, I've been looking for some speakers, an amp, and a sub for my standard cab dakota. I have a head unit, which is a pioneer 6800, it's the kind that has the blue oel display. I have an idea for the rest, but I still not sure on what to do for the the rest of it though.
For the speakers, I haven't really heard any, but I see a lot of good things on mb quart from other people, so I plan on getting these Mb quart pce-216 components.

I'm not sure on the amp and subwoofer though. I want a shallow mount sub for an easy installation, but the only ones I really see are from pioneer, and I don't know how how good they are. They have a 10 inch and a 12 inch, the 10 calls for 250 watts rms and the 12 calls for 350. I would like the 12, but the amp I'm looking at only puts out 278 watts bridged, and I don't know if there is a 4 channel amp for around 200 that can put out 350, if the 278 is enough to power the 12, or if I should go with a 10. Pioneer sells boxes for these subs which is a big plus for me, as it's cold outside and I've never built a sub box before.

The only other shallow mount subs I've seen (I think 2) have both needed a lot of power, and I don't have a budget for that, plus it's only going in a truck.
For the amp, I plan on using a 4 channel and bridging the rear two channels for the sub. The infinity reference 7541a seems like it would be my best bet, it puts out 111rms x 4 and 278 bridged. I think it should be enough to power the speakers well, but I don't know how it will do the sub. This amp seems to put out good power for it's price range, so that's mostly what attracted me to it, and after reading reviews it sounds like everyone likes it.

That's basically the best I've been able to plan out. I'm pretty sure the speakers will sound good, and I like what I've seen from the amp, but I guess I mostly want to know how those shallow mount subs are and if that amp is enough to power the 12. Any input will be appreciated, thanks a lot!
