I think I messed up buying a fused distrobution block can I just come out of the cap directly into each amp?
sub amp has #4 guage wire but quaility speakers amp has #8guage wire.
cap instructions say to use the same size wire out of cap that I used for in?
the quaility speakers amp is not intended for #4guage (I tryed to cram the #4 on but it's to fat & I can't seam to find a fork connector for the #4 wire.
the other option I heard somewhere is to use 80amp fuses in the distrobution block?
Thanks

why don't you do 4 into the cap, 4 out of the cam into a fused dist block, and 8 out of the block?

def still use the block coming off of the cap. That way the amps are still fused individually. If you used your cap as distribution, and for some reason the wire coming off of it to the amp grounded some how, you'd have an unfused dead short.

OK makes sence to use the block ? even though the cap instruction say not to, will I have to use 80amp fuses?
right now each amp has a 50 amp fuse? I also have a 80amp fuse 10"s from the positive out of battery.
I was also told I should have a inline fuse just before the cap is this also recommended?
thanks

You could put a 50 amp fuse for each amp in the distribution block between the caps and amp. The reason for the fuse right before the cap, is if your powerwire coming from the battery grounded It would be a short to the cap. Your fuse at the battery would blow, killing power from the battery. Honestly as long as your power wire is loomed & secure, I think you're fine with just the one at the battery. Thats how most are done. Since you have already got the block though, I'd definitly use it between the caps and amps and you should be good to go.
