Corvette Performance - 01-04 zo6 guys...need some ideas for interior

The one thing i cant stand about these cars are their "outdated interior look". I LOVE everything about the c6 but cant pay the price yet. So im getting an 03-04 this spring and want to change somet thigns around. But i need ideas as far as the Radio/shifter go? IS there a way to get the C6 shifter (atleast the cover)? I need some pics for ideas.

As far as the radio, there are numerous applications out there that'll work. Even a GPS system. I've seen a couple of navigation systems in C5's that look like they're factory...they look very nice. As far as shifter, ??? I haven't seen any of the C6's put into C5's. I'm sure that if it could be done, someone on this site will have already done it. well most people change out the shifter for a short throw one. There are a few out there:
Hurst
B &m Ripper
bpp shifter

I am personally going to go with the bpp shifter for sure. that and a nice shifter handle too.

i would like to go with a dvd/nav flip out screen from Pioneer, $1600 on sale. I would go with a Pioneer head unit. However I will leave the radio stock and go towards go faster parts.

Not trying to stir the pot but i dont see why anyone would prefer the C6 interior over the C5.

I have a flip out dvd player in my C5 and really like it besides in the summer. When the screen is out it blocks the center vents and kills the a/c.

I really like it. Shorter than the stock C5 shifter, but still very smooth. The shift knob is a HUGE improvement!
