Recently had a double-rod ended panhard bar which is rather clunky. I had some speakers installed at a local car audio shop because I wrecked one of them attempting to follow a write up on here. I asked how much would it cost to sound deaden the trunk because I'm looking to hear less of that constant clunk. He said $300 for the material and labor. I believe they only use Dynamat and that's what he said the price was including.

Also asked about the doors and he said $200 each.

I wouldnt pay for labor on something so simple
Just lift up the carpet and lay it down.
Use a heat gun if you want to mold it to the car.
Also if you order the dynamat from the internet you can save an arm (then it will just cost you a leg)

do it yourself...it requires no mechanical knowledge to do it

i just installed 150 feet of the 65 mil edead v1se which is basically the entire car. i did it in about 30 hours total but it was so worth it. it will be around 300 bucks for the same amount which is prolly more than you want anyways.
