my cousin has a 2001 trans am ws6 m6, 4:10 gears. his horn qiute once. we put a new one on. it died. we have repeated this process three more times. anyone have any clue as to what is causing this?

Water. The positioning of the horns in front of the right wheel well means they get wet a lot. The diaphagm corrodes and the horn stops working. You can relocate the horns to the fenderwell just behind the battery and they will last longer.
