Stereo & Electronics - sound deadener

I'm trying to decide wich is better for my 01 ws6 should I go with dynamat extreme or edead v1 and about how many sq ft I need I'm doing the hatch area sail panels and doors thanks for advice ?

eDead, much much much cheaper. Might not deaden quite as well but you could put on 2 layers. As for how much you'll need i'm not sure, my friend did his entire focus with 2 layers in trunk and doors off of a 120 sq. foot package and had leftover.

Even the guys at elemental designs will tell you that Dynamat is a slightly better deadener. But at almost 1/4 of the cost, slightly is not worth it to me. I used e-dead v1 in my sons F150 and my wifes Windstar, did both vehicles completely (except roof) for under $300. ED will give you fantastic customer support and get your stuff to you fast. I will def give them :thumb: for product and customer service. Also, if you ask for the "forum discount" they will give you 20% off. Good luck, that shit makes a world of difference.

Anything but Dynamat.

Some other stuff to look at - Be Quiet and Brown Bread. Google them...forget who makes each respective product, but they're quite good.
