Small Block & Big Block Chevy Specific - thoughts on a ZZ572 in a F BODY ??

thinking of putting a ZZ572 from gm into my 96 firehawk m6 anybody got any thoughts if its a good idea ?

1. i just wet my self, because i want to put one in my hawk but dont have the $$$
2. damn
3. good luck getting it to fit, i've heard stories on getting one in there
4. if it does fit, supercharge that bad mo'fo!!!!

I am in the process of putting a 572 in my 95Z drag car.I purchased a short block kit new off e-bay w/Dart block and eagle rotating assembly.I purchased a set of AFR heads also.I will tell you,it's all the "little things" that add up.I started this project with no bbc parts lying around and have had to buy everything from carb to oil pan. If I had it to do over again,I think I would simply order a crate motor.I have about 14k in the engine alone,and i'm not finished ordering parts yet :cry: That would be my only advice,research it well,and add up cost to build and compare to what's on the market in the way of crate engines.Good luck :)

Ive seen one in person. Im hosting the video right now of it. Its a 572BB Chevy, in a 98-02 Camaro. Talked to the owner a little, tried getting underhood shots but he was a cocky POS so I couldnt get much. Heres a video link to an 11.01 1/4... letting out at the 1/8th.
