Whos using one? Let me know what you think.

Just saw this...I'm sure it may be old but not thinking a good radar detector would be nice. Currently using a whistler not sur eof exact model.

Only get it if they're illegal by you, otherwise the V1, 9500 and X50 are better.

What makes them better? Can you list specific reasons? The face buttons area great option. So, the V1 is still the top dog?

They aren't currently illegal in my state but wouldn't it make it safest to have one that is safe in all states when passing through? Just a thought.

This subject has been beaten to death, over and over and over and over......

Try a search! :judge:

I had an 8500 X50 in my SS and a V1 in my T/A. I loved the V1 waaaay more and ripped out the X50 and bought another V1 for the SS. If that gives you any idea of my opinion.

Peace,
Craig.

I thought this site does the best camparo (http://www.speedzones.com/) of a wide variety of detectors and tests, I am also looking at buying a detector and have a thread going about it heres a link (http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=662544)

alot of people keep saying v1 is top dog but iv'e seen a few reviews now and they say the v1 acts crazy.like on radartest.com,they say "the v1 equaled bel in detecting Ka POP mode and slightly edged the escort.but also generated the highest number of false alarms we've witnessed in years,so many on a long roadtrip that we ripped it off the windshield and used another".

POP is rare anyway.
