Stereo & Electronics - Bass not hitting as hard when cold?

Just curious if it's normal for a sub (12" in my case) to not hit as hard once the temps are cold (30-40*F).

Yes, mine does the same thing (can barely hear it in below zero temps). I believe it's because when the sub is colder it's stiffer and cant move as easily.

same thing in mine man...just part of it being cold.

when its cold i would go easy on it also, its hard on the sub when you force it
