Stereo & Electronics - Okay guys, who's got the tweeter pods and...

...how the heck did you install them?

First of all, the metal brackets popped off, had to JBWeld them, so that's cool, matter of fact it feels stronger than before!

Second, I cannot figure out how I am to install the pods to that triangle area, as the one bolt from the side mirror does go thru one of the bracket holes, but how am I going to install the tweeters in them???

I am no help to your problem but what tweeter pods are you talking about. Does anybody know of a source where I could buy some? I have searced but haven't found anything like he's talking about.

to the original poster... not sure what style tweeter pods you have, but mine just screw in like the stock piece. The screw hole is on the inside, so you need to cu the hole for the tweeter first, then screw them in, then mount your tweeter from the front.

Put the Tweeters in the dash Mine are flush mounted and it sounds perfect! I'll have to post some pisc of how I did it.

those look pretty nice. do you have any pics of them with the door closed? i really want to see how that looks. also do you just drill out the space fror the tweeter itself?

well, my car has no dash in it right now, so closed door pics won't really show you how it looks inside. Perhaps once someone gets a set installed they can snap some pics for me. I did a test fit awhile back with a set and they cleared the a-pillars by about 1/4" or so.
