I'm putting in a .540 lift cam in the 454 I got to go in my boat. After what lift do you need to change out the stock rockers?

if you are unsure and want to be safe go with a lower lift and use 1.6 rockers to eliminate any questions

The only 1.6s I came across so far were Crower @ $430. I already have the cam sitting in my garage.

Stock 1.7 Rockers clear .540 fine on a big block.

Cool. I haven't ever had a big block before so they're still kinda new to me because I haven't ever had to know much about them before.

.

Ran a .575 hydrulic about 20 years ago with stock rockers. No problems, but the used stock springs didn't last very long, but nothing hit. Good luck.

Sound good. I've got some new Crane springs I bought with the cam. Supposed to be good to .560 or so.
