Small Block & Big Block Chevy Specific - 355 oil pump ?

What oil pump is best for a 355. The car is 91 z28 with a 700r4.Oil pump went bad a need a replacement and recommendations on a new one.

Just a stock oil pump would be the best for you unless you are running your tolerances preaty loose. Otherwise your putting unnessary stress on your dist & cam gear. You also loose HP trying to turn a high volume pump.
