Stereo & Electronics - Sound Deadening Materials? (dynamat/phatmat and such?)
well I took out my whole interior today (put front seats in to drive) but carpet and all plastics are gone
why? (Water under back seat and shit thread here I think its cause i was parked on a hill http://ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?p=6641199#post6641199)
Anyways running all my speaker wires and stuff with the stock wires and I was wondering should I do some sound deadening stuff will it help with road noise, - fuel pump, gears - motor whine lol

If you want to do it cheap, get "Grace Ultra" (NOT anything else made by them! It MUST be Ultra!) from your local Lowes and use that on your floor. Use Sludge from www.secondskinaudio.com for your doors and Damplifier from the same if you want to do your roof.

i think im just gonna get some fat mat
how many square feet is it to cover the whole car not doing roof.. just floor/trunk doors.. (doors can wait though) i was gonan get 100-120 sqft
btw how much weight is doing the whole car in this stuff? wouldnt want to slow my beast down but i want it to be alittle quieter, i can always find other stuff to save wieght with

Better than Fatmat by far, not as good as Second Skin. I would only use it for floorboards, it's known to not stick too well.
