Someone help me please. I installed a Pioneer head unit today and I'm getting some feedback with the motor on and at idle. It's give off the sound of a bad ground. I'm no dummy, I've done installs a million times so I checked and rechecked all of the wiring, connections etc and can't come up with anything. Hell I even added another ground thinking that would solve the problem. Nope. Now, the head unit IS used..however it's only a few months old and I know the person I got it from so I can pretty much rule that out. I used the wiring harness from Peripheral that hooks the cd player harness to the factory one. I also got the SVEN7 but realize..well I don't have a BOSE amp, lol.

Anyway, it didn't make any noises with the factory stuff. Can anyone post up some tips? Maybe I overlooked something.

Thanks!

Also, it only seems to make the feedback noise at idle, it kinda goes away a bit when I get on the gas over 1500 rpms

you running any rca cables? or just a straight head unit swap? if you have rca cables maybe bad shielding

Try a noise filter.

Just the H/U swap

Try a noise filter.

Yeah I was thinking that, never had to use one though. I'll give it a shot.
