Stereo & Electronics - Stock Alarm Going Crazy!

So my car decided it would be a good time to start playing games again today. :mad: Whenever I lock my car it beeps twice ( Normal). Then exactly 4 seconds later the alarm sound beeps twice. Does anyone know what this is? It is killing me!

Didn't you post this about a month ago? Did you get any responses?

I don't know why it does that - maybe reset everything? Maybe it's some setting that lets you know after the 2 beeps that it is indeed armed? Maybe it is telling you that the alarm previously went off when it was armed?

Hopefully someone else can give you a real answer...

I HAVE THE ANSWER!!! :) I searched everywhere and no one really gave a good answer. I know plenty of people said they had the honk problem too. Well the problem was water in the shock sensor above the tire jack. I opened it up and the water poured out. I dryed the cirucit board with a hair dryer for like 10 seconds and reinstalled it. Good as New! :devil:
