How do you know if your car came with it or not?

I think you can tell if you have the little red LED in the Dash defroster vents. Or just use your Key fob lock your car with it, then open the door with your KEY. It should start alarming in about 5 seconds

I bought the car used so im trying to see if it had one from the factory. Im hoping it did so I can get a fob and program it. Is there a rpo code for it?

R7X is the RPO for the factory security system

Look for RPO codes AU0 - Remote Entry Lock Control and UA6 - Theft Deterent System for the alarm.

hell, mine had R7X and that came back as theft deterrant system, remote keyless entry....
