When i plug my phone charger in the accessary cigarette lighter [the one by the ebrake] i get massive feedback/noise from my speakers. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm wondering if there is a ground loop issue or what it could be. thanks for any help.

I used to get that when plugging in my FM transmitter for my MP3 player. I always figured that it was the power supply for the FM transmitter, as I never had a problem with my phone chargers.

have you done any splicing into that cigerette lighter?

I would also have to say that the interference is coming from the load. The charger or the phone.

i have not done any splicing. The cigarettle lighter behind the shifter was removed: a shop said it was causing the fuze to blow so they removed it.

I've had that happen with low-quality, low-price phone cords.
Try substituting some of your friends' cords and/or phones. If it's only your cord that does it, try buying an OEM cord. Wal-Mart has them for some phones, even though they cost a good bit more than the aftermarket ones.
