Stereo & Electronics - can i use stock speaker wires ?

just bought speakers and a new head unit. was wondering if i had to re wire everything or if i can use old speaker wires? or do they go driectly to monsoon amp : / ? yes its 11:20 pm and i'm trying to get stereo installed for 9 hr drive tomorrow :eek2:

They go to the amp, but that doesn't mean you can't use them. You'll just have your HU amplified by the Monsoon system, and it also means you'll actually be able to drive all of your speakers. Most people on here say the amp isn't bad to use.

i ended up just rewiring everything and left the stock wiring alone... still not done kinda just doing it as i have free time : /.. car looks like it's gutted lol

Yea there was no need at all for that....almost all leave it - especially when the HU is all they swapped/or don't have any aftermarket amps. You actually want to use the Monsoom amp, depending on what else you've done.... You aren't going to get all the channels you need, as well as the filtered channels, and the extra power for the sail panel speakers..... I'm not sure exactly what you did, but I can't imagine it sounding very good depending on what exactly you did...
