Stereo & Electronics - Monsoon headunit, does it affect the alarm?

I want to put a new headunit in my car in a few weeks along with a thunderform sub, infinitey component rear pass speakers and new hatchback speakers. Would the headunit affect the alarm in any way? and if i sold the car would there by any problems putting the monsoon headunit back in?

Nope, no problems with your alarm, nor with putting it back in provided that you use a pre-made wiring harness rather than cut wires. BTW, you'll love how that system sounds.

I'm not sure what will sound good in a car. I'm not after extreme bass, but I do want enough to have thumping in the summer.

My plan is $400 headunit, I have new bostons in the front (120), Infinity components rear pass (180ish), 4 1/2s in the rear hatch (100).

For the box I'm curious if a rear loading driver side box 1, 10" sub is the same as an MTX or JL audio. Or is that enough power and I'd need a 2, 10" system from subthumb? I'm getting a great deal on all the speakers because of friend of mine works at curcuit city. 40-65% off all speakers.
