Here is the deal I'm doing a A4-M6 swap and my dad wants my A4. What does he need to put it behind a sbc or bbc. I remeber seeing a controll box or something like that made by jet performance on horse power tv a while back but dont remember exactly what it was called, but it was like a pcm for the trasmission. Also what kind of a converter is he gonna need I dont think he can use my ls1 converter.

If he made it full manual valve bodies he wouldn't need a controller.

TCI makes a contoller box and so does GM. I'm going to use the TCI controller when I swap to the 4L60E.

I'm also thinking about doing this, is there a special bellhousing you need to use?

All you need to run a 4L60 behing a big block is a little drag net to go behind the car to catch the scraps, that way noone behind you will pop a tire on shards of steel and aluminum.
