Noticed this today, top 5 famous movie cars. How does the Smokey and the Bandit T/A not make the list, it's one of the few you could actually buy looking like it was in the movie.

Kinda pisses me off.

I woulda scrapped Starsky and Hutch for Smokey and the Bandit. Definately better by far

Or how about Vanishing Point - the focus was driving a 1970 Dodge Challeger R/T across the Southwest US. Not much more to it. But, cool as hell!!

come on now, you can't say the delorean shouldn't make the list. batmobile gets first, and the rest is debatable. now i'm a sucker for a sexy mopar, but i have to agree, kitt or the bandit should've made the list. well, scratch that, screw kitt. sorry, i can't stand hasselhofffff. but the bandit should've been on there. and wtf, the blower on the mad max car was fake. i think the writers of this article drive rsx's, sip lattes, and have bov simulators that go "pssshshsh" from a hidden speaker when they shift.

Have you even seen Mad Max? It's a badass car, I don't care what you say! Bandit should have been on there instead of the batmobile, which at least shoulda been the 80's/90/s one...

That batmobile is the biggest piece of riced out crap ive ever seen. All that bullshyte and it ran 19.5 in the 1/4 mile! My scooter runs faster than that. Bandit should have made the list for sure.

Car and Driver gathered five iconic machines available and drivable in Southern California for this not-so-serious "comparison test.
