Kinda odd, when i fill my tank the gauge goes way past full, and remains there. My concern is that when im getting to the end of the tank, how much fuel do i really have! anyone else had this problem? or know of a way to fix it ?

This happened to me after I took the car to the body shop (the needle was stuck at full.) I ended up running out of gas because my trip meter was reset and my gas gauge said the tank was full. All I did was fill it to about half and then a few days later filled it all the way up.
Prior this, my gauge was very inaccurate. There was no way of telling how much gas I had, just went by the trip meter.
This is just my experience, my guess is that running the car dry of gas cannot be a good thing...
Good luck.

I know two people who had the same issue, one on a '98 and one on a '00 - both cases turned out to be the sending unit inside the tank. batmn77 there's a shop in Jax that fixed theirs using the trap door method it you decide to go that route.
