If this is true, this thing might be good competition for the high model Camaro. They'll have to throw that 7.0L from the vette in there for sure.

you mean 6.2L LS3 don't you? or the 7.0L LS7? or the Supercharged 6.2L LS9?
I'd say the LS9 strikes my fancy the most as being a potential engine choice for the 09' Camaro. I'd be all over that like white on rice!!!

I was reading on the Challenger forums that the info is false about the 7.0l and that mopar has already been working on a 6.4? 6.9? l engine for the challenger. Still very interesting to see what happens.

I think the new 392 Hemi (6.4L) is alot more possible, seeing as it actually exists. :)

There's been a lot of rumors going around about the 6.6l and 7.0l. I haven't seen any proof of either of these motors yet. Being Chrysler is so quiet about the challenger, you never no what they could bring out. I've been a member at the challenger forum for awhile, and noone really knows what Chrsyler is going to release. I just hope they don't release the challenger like they did the charger.
Since there is already the 5.7, 6.1, and the 6.4 liter, I don't believe their will be another Hemi in the makings. I hope they prove me wrong though, I would love to see a modern 426 Hemi.

I would love to see a 426 also. But I have to ask my self? If the 392 is already makin 500+hp than what is the point of the 426 besides its heritage.

All either motor need is a 4" crank.
the Stock 5.7 with a 4" crank is a 396, the 6.1 with teh 4" crank turns into the 426.
I've been debating a 396 for my 07 Ram, as soon as the TA is done i think i'm going for it.
