I do not feel bad for Bug...they have a luxury car that handles better than anything out there (for the amount of speed it does).

I just read some of the comments posted on the record. Amazing what a bunch of complete morons some people can be. One guy post that Bugatti wasn't trying to go after the record and that's why the SSC holds it. Bugatti built the Veyron with the intention of making it the fastest production car available. The Bugatti 253 mph top speed isn't even official. It would probably melt the motor if it was forced to make 2 top speed runs within an hour, to make an official record. To all the haters of the SBC, I say Bugatti is the first loser and the line forms behind it and it is a very long line, McLaren, Enzo, CCR, SLR, Carrera GT, LP640...you get the idea. Congrats once again to the SSC and its 1,100+ hp SBC motor.:usa:
