Stereo & Electronics - Monsoon Stereo Speakers Question

Can anyone tell me what size the stock door speakers are in a 2000 Z28?

I'm thinking 6.5", but may be 5.25"?

doors are 6.5" sail panel speakers are 6.5" and the ones in the hatch are 4" i believe

they are 6.5

6.5"S -- so either 6.5" or 6.75" speakers will fit in most cases... hatch are 4" round.

I forgot to ask, do I have to take off the door panel to replace the speaker?

I also forgot to ask if I need to have special "door speakers" or if any 6.5" speakers will work? (i.e., Sony X Plod)?
