That comes to 570ish shipped for litereally everything you would need for a really solid setup. Obviouslly you coudl get different stuff or order from somewhere else but you get the idea. The pioneer amp for its price is killer Ive put it and its older model in a number of cars with great results. Also a bit of sound deadening in each door wouldnt hurt

Mine was about $1450. If I were to do it again I'd change a few things and spend a little more. There are definately much cheaper options you can go for though.

if you want to stay within a fairly small price range, you can do like i did and only use the front door speakers and a single 10" sub, powered by a 4-channel amp (front speakers each on a single channel, the sub on the other two channels bridged).
i have a Panasonic CD player, a Blaupunkt 75watts x 4 @ 4ohms amp, Infinity 6.5" components up front, and a cheap Dual 10" sub in the hatch (Dual is the brand name....yeah, it's cheap, but it does the job for now....gonna upgrade to a 10" JL 10W3 soon).
the key to this setup is power. i had a 50w x 4 @ 4ohms amp before, and it wasn't enough power. 75w or 100w x 4 is a lot better, just make sure the speakers you buy can handle the power.

About 3400.00 with all the odds and ends included. Most of these items were pretty heavily discounted by a non sponsor web vendor.
The install took me and a buddy about 50 hours in total but that includes gutting the whole interior to put sound deadening on everything except the roof. The pictures below show the doors before the sound deadener was put on.
Here are a few pictures of the install...

This was completed last year but I still don't have any pictures of the fully installed system. I keep meaning to take them. Maybe this weekend I'll pop off a few new pictures of the completed project. The amps and subs are pretty stealthy until you turn up the volume:)
