Hey folks I am trying to follow the directions on the shoebox website but looking at his pics my door skin doesn't look like that.
Has anybody done a 98-02 Formula?
I could really use some pointers on how to figure out where to drill to expose the rivits.

I lined up the new motor against the old one(still in door) and found the holes that need to be drilled out that way.

Just look around on the inside, the only difference I think is that you are looking at the other sides drilling guide, you have to invert it, lol...
I've done it twice in my formula. Its nearly identical. The only difference is the way the panel is held on. Once you remove all the panel screws and the small triangle by the mirror, pull the panel up and off.

i just felt around in there and was able to figure it out that way. You can see somewhat in there without a mirror or you could try using one if you are really paranoid about drilling into the wrong spot... i just used my fingers though and i was fine. No big deal if some of your holes are off... who else will ever know?

Do a search for my threads (my confuser won't let me for some reason) and find the one that says something about window alignment writeup. I think i put a couple pics of hardware locations, including where the holes need to be drilled. Its a 99 TA btw.
hope that helps!
