Why would you want to? Get a MP3 cd player and you can have 12 discs worth of music on one CD and "change cds" by switching folders, the stock 12 disc changer is horrible. You hit a bump and it jams up on ya.

He's got a point!! That's why I like mine. It plays DVD's also so I can put 4.7 gig of music on one disc which is some peoples entire music collection. It seperates into folders for ease of use as well. In Mp3 format that's around 1000+ songs on one disc. Gotta love that!

If I wanted to figure out how to add more music to listen too, thats what I would have asked, but I asked could you hook up a 12 disk OEM CD changer to an aftermarket head unit..
This is not for me. A question was asked, and I didnt know the answer so I thought I would ask it in here..
thanks for the advise tho :)

No, the OEM changer won't work with aftermarket head units. Although it's made by Pioneer, it was made to GM specifications and won't even work with Pioneer head units. There used to be adapters that allowed connection to Kenwood or Alpine HUs but I haven't seen any around for several years.

I read what you asked as I have no trouble reading, I was just trying to give another option or avenue you may or in this case may NOT have wanted to pursue. Good luck.
