okay so im putting an xbox in my t/a and i want to know if there would be any problems tapping into the power seats wire and cutting the power cord to the xbox and connect them? would i get a surge or anything that would short out the xbox or would it be fine? im doing the same thing to my sirius.

Yes there is a problem.
Your car is about 13 volts DC. The xbox input power is 120 volts AC. You'd need a power inverter for a car to convert to the right input.
I guess the question is, why are you putting a console in your car? And where are you putting the TV for it? ;)
Just don't play games while driving, try explaining that to the cops :jest:

okay, yeah i have an inverter to plug into my lighter, but its kinda big and bulky so i think what i will do is get another lighter and wire it under the seat so its hidden at least.
I have a 6.5" in dash pioneer that i am putting in, also i am building a sub box on the rear deck where i am putting in a 10" and i am putting the xbox next to that.

Also, don't directly wire a Sirius radio to the car for the same reason - the car is 12V and the Sirius radio takes 5V.

Just use the car adapter that came with it. Wire up a socket if you need to for it.
