Anyone weigh their car at Memphis and think those scales were off a little? Not sure about my setup but after adding weight with SFI bellhousing and exhaust all the way out the back I should have gained something.

So you think the scales were low or high?

They were light ..... 50-60 lbs. unless tyson's 4 corner scales were off by that much (which I doubt)

I was wondering that myself. I weighed mine twice and the first time it weighed 3360 with me in it. Made 3 passes and pulled the pass seat and it weighed 3370 with me in it. I still haven't figured that one out. It has never been that light before. The only thing removed from mine except for the seat is the AC compressor/condenser, but the 6pt cage should have offset the AC weight. It normally weighs in about 3450

We were 3505 on the corner scales with an unknown amount of fuel in the car. It hovered right around 3490 all weekend on the track scales.
Some passes it was 3480, some it was 3495. But usually about the same.

Those scales were a good 20-30lbs light all weekend, Ive scaled at about 6-7 tracks this year and these were the lightest by far!! Of coarse at the event where i have to be the heaviest Ive ever been so when i ran that 7.79 i'm guessing i was at about 3425lbs. No wonder the tranny went:barf: when we tried to run a 60.

Just what I thought. I was guessing 50-60 light but will accept 20-30. Light none the less. Could wrongfully send someone home being that far off and knowing alot of drag guys pushing the weight limits within a few gallons of fuel.
They were a little light, I would say 30-40lbs according to my corner scales and most other tracks around but it doesnt matter since everyone uses the same scales. If you are going to a race with your car right at minimum on a truckstop or corner scales you will be in trouble most of the time ;)

My little N/A 346 M6 car was at the minimum when I weighed it. Ive never had to THINK HEAVY before. Little motor cant haul that much weight. I'm saving my pennies for more motor next year. Anybody have a spare 427 laying around?
