With a cast iron intake and cast iron head around 685 lbs. Small blocks are around 550 lbs. These are complete motors stock. Cast iron everthing.

So maybe 600 with aluminum heads?

I would say you will drop 70 lbs just with aluminum heads and 20 or so lbs with an aluminum intake so right under 600 like 580 or so.

So pretty damn close to full iron SBC weight, that is cool.

Yeah pretty close. I mean as close as your gonna get with a dam boat anchor. BBC stuff is unbelievebly heavy so to drop that much weight switching heads and a intake is pretty good. Make a big difference for the car .

I have small block springs that i can use with a big block w/ aluminum heads, so the weight is similar almost.
