There is a little red light that illuminates the buttons on the door and it's burned out and i can't take off the bulb. :(
I don't want to pull the wires too hard and tear them.:bang:
It's on a trans am.
Has anyone taken the light off? How ?
Do you have to cut it all off?

You can pull it out, just grab some pliers and yank that sum'bitch out. For some reason those things get really stuck, so just rip er out.

mine (camaro) melted, I ended up having to break the bulb with tiny needle nose pliers and pics. I was finally able to get new bulbs in there.

If I do that I will break the bulb then I can't get the little pieces out? :bang:
Is there another way?

You can get the pieces out. Thats what I did. Just use a small screw driver, drywall screw, a pick... something small and skinny.

No, that's an industry standard bulb number available from any auto parts store.

:engarde: I fought with mine for awhile, then I got fed up and deceided to I was going to have to break it. Just take some pliers, crush the bulb and pull it out by the filament with a pair of needle nose pliers.
