i was told in another thread that the drivers door trigger might be bad but i dont know how much this would cost to fix and im not even sure if this is the issue, but it is annoying, how much is a new door trigger? its a 98 formula, im not sure what the rap system is

RAP = Retained Accessory Power. It's the circuit that keeps the radio and power windows operating for about 10 minutes after shutting off the car or until a door is opened. The easy way to tell if it's the door switch causing the problem is to try the passenger door - it's unlikely that both switches would go at the same time. If the radio shuts off when the passenger door is opened but not when the driver's door is opened then it's likely the switch in the driver's door is the problem.
Sometimes all you need is to clean the switch - they tend to get gummed up with road grime. The switch is in the door latch (it's not a separate pin switch like they used to be on older cars).
