Stereo & Electronics - Do cd cleaners work? Monsoon HU

Hey guys, my hu skips some cd's sometimes, not all of them. I was wondering if a cd cleaner from walmart would do the job? I know that I need a hu, but I can't afford it right now. Anybody tried them before? Thanks

it did the job on mine for the most part

I never had any luck with them but something called a spin doctor helps repair the scratches on the cd pretty well.

I meant to say cd lense cleaner....

It can't hurt so why not try it? :confused: :D
