hey i am doing a sbc conversion on my 95 camaro and just had a few questions....will an lt1 t-56 bolt directly up to a sbc? can you use a stock lt1 k member, or do you have to use one like bmr has? can you run your stock high pressure pump with a regulator and a return, or must you use a low pressure pump? and will lt1 headers fit? these questions might already be answered in a thread but i couldnt find them anywhere. i would appreciate any feedback...thanks, bob

I did this conversion w/ a 6 speed... I have all of the stuff that you need, but you'll have to go to a manual clutch... PM me if you want it.

Lt1 headers will work, if it is carbed i suggest swapping to a low pressure external pump for fuel. A T56 will bolt right up with the LT1 flywheel if it is 87+ ballancing i believe. The factory K member will work fine, but not all the bolt holes are identical for the LT1 to SBC motor mounts, only 2 on each side will mount, which allot say gives them no problem.
Good luck.

I have no problems with the stock mounts, I modded the left one to use all 3 holes but left the right one alone. And I regulate my stock fuel pump down to 6psi with a QuickFuel regulator.

Yea, just remember if you use the stock fuel pump, you have to wire it to say on with the ignition. Once the computer doesnt detect the factory system and tell the pump to come on, it will only prime up, that is why it needs to be done.

I actually had a question on this so Im gunna bring this post back from the dead.
I thought Spohn was making a SBC-lt1 Kmember mount?
I just checked their website and all I could find was tubular K-members.Anyone have any info on this?
If not what mounts do you use, I would like to either use solid mounts or the energy suspension polyurethane ones.
