Small Block & Big Block Chevy Specific - ZZ572/720R Valve Springs Needed

Buddy of mine broke one of the small valve springs in his 572 motor.
Anyone know where I can tell him to get a replacement?
He is finding out they are dealer only parts.
Told him I would check to see if there is somewhere else.

Is he wanting to go back with a GM product? If not then ask some of the cam and valvetrain people on the board and give them the specs of the cam and current springs and see what they suggest for an aftermarket spring.

Yes, but he may be able to buy just 1 valve spring from GM for a replacement. If not Ken maybe able to give him some specs so that he can just tell one of the sponsors what he needs exactly & not guesstimate on the subject.

He wants to go back with factory.
He got a dealer to over night one from the factory.
