Paint & Body Work - painting a jet ski (non-salt water)

hey experts...just curious when painting a boat or jet ski...is there special paint or can i use normal auto body paint??? it will be used for lake water only...no salt water. thanx in advance

haha here is a stand up that i painted myself with regular spray paint. I dont know what kind of jetski your painting or what you use it for, but i do a lot of freestyling so mine constantly gets scratched up so i didnt see a point in spending a bunch of money for paint.

We always used regular automotive paint sprayed it with basecoat clear I had a 700 superjet a few years ago we made it a 760

gelcoat would be youre best bet. Really strong stuff and is the only way to go for marine products IMO
