Dont like the cut out hood, and it says curb weight 3350, isnt that like 200 lb more than the z06?

Correct, but the blower and intercooler add 100 pounds alone over the ZO6. The ZR-1 will outperform the ZO6 in every aspect, you'd never know the extra weight was there.
