I'm hoping I can get some experienced tips on the best way to run my power wire from my battery to my trunk.
Thanks for the help!

Also any ideas on where to mount the amp would be helpful. I have a toolbox in my trunk and I would rather not leave the amp visible. It is unfortunately HUGE! Its a Cadence 750D

there is a rubber gromet on the passenger side firewall i ran mine through and just ran it down the passenger side under the carpet. just use a 4 way screwdriver and take out the kick panel and run it under the carpet and be sure to get it low enough so you don't run any of the screws through it.then on the back you probably won't even have to take anything loose to get it hid out of the way.i just had my 23-25" long amp setting in the bottom of the t-top well.

The grommet he is speaking of is actually behind the PCM (computer) so it won't be visible when looking for it. Most have to remove the PCM to access it. If your like the guy in the Burger King commercial with really tiny hands you may be able access it without removing it. lol!!

i think when i ran mine, i didnt even have to use the same grommet that the factory wiring ran through. if i remember correctly, we found an unused hole and ran the wire through it. but yea, it is pretty straight forward once you remove the CPU.

I ran it through there. It is the same place I ran my shift light. Oh baby Jesus, my stuff sounds good now!!

If you're worried about screws hitting the wires, or running multiple wires, remove the seatbelt bolt and run wires on the other side of that.

Yes removing the seatbelt was a must
