chef: Thanks, but I'm actually swapping hoods off, that was just a temp. VFN is providing TTP with a 4" Pin-On Cowl Hood & a Camaro 2-Piece Dash. Thanks Jeannie!

Hey all. I just recieved a question about having to buy an NMCA membership to race in Atco. Just like Memphis, you DO NOT need to buy a membership in order to compete in the Atco Showdown as long as you run the LSX Showdown class only.

I'm a NMCA member, we just don't fit into your drag radial class so we are running NOPI. We'll be attending memphis and atco this year unlike missing last memphis.

Are the specific rules the same as the Late Model EFI regulations? As in, no lexan or speed glass?

What happened to the AAA/9.0 index they had for Memphis?

I will be there trying to win the true street class and running the index also.
Do they start hot lapping the index class towards the end?
Not that I can go rounds with a 9.0 nitrous car

Does that mean my VFN wide sunaco hood would keep me out??

no, it means it has to have an interior, has to look like a car still, you can't run a car with no hood at all, that type of thing. Aftermarket hoods are fine.

Actually they did add an 8.50 and 9.00 index to the race so you are good.

Does that mean that the good prizes/$ are going to the faster classes then the 9.5 index, which was originally the fastest class?

If so, I'm losing intrest really really fast.........

No sir. One set of payouts and prizes for the whole class.
It is a mixed index class which means an 8.50 car can race a 14.00 cause both are in the mixed class. One winner for the class not each index.

Guys... Trans brakes are okay now. We changed the wording a bit for continuity and address throttle stops, boxes, etc.
