Ok guys i have a 99 trans am NBM when i got it. it had a firehawk front end and now it has fiskes and i have removed all emblems and molding what im asking is do you think i should make it a firehawk clone and put firehawk emblems on it or leave as a trans am with firehawk front end and no emblems?
Here is a pic of it.

Personally I'm a fan of stock appearing. Key word - "appearing". But to each his own is what I always say.

Personally the decals/emblems are the only part of Firehawks I dont like. Your car looks great, I'd leave it that way.

emblems or not, people will prob think its a hawk. i dont think id put the emblems on, just like if i had a reg camaro and put the ss hood on, i wouldnt put ss emblems on....id prob shave all decals ect...but when ppl would ask, id tell them its a ____ and just has a ss hood

Unless you're going to swap out the Fiskes for Firehawk rims, there's no point in doing a clone.
Looks good as is.

Don't do it. Leave it.
Update the photos to show the current layout.

It still says "Trans Am" on the side. But even if it didn't, "cloning" (badging a car to be something it's not) is for ricers. It looks fine as a near-stock appearing modified car, keeps them thinking.

i say leave it like it is and take the the ta emblems off and make people wonder what it is thats what they do when they see my hawk and ask is that a firebird? oh and take the the door molding off the side less is more.

Thats a beautiful car the way it is. Do you really wanna have to explain it isn't a Hawk all the time when someone asks?

You should lower it because the reg. T/As and WS6s sit higher than the firehawks and then maybe clone the decals but come up with a way to do it where you are not trying to pass it off like a true firehawk. Do something like the guys out there that put WS7(instead of WS6) on the back of the car when they get the ram air hoods and stuff. Which still has the emblem but anybody that knows stuff about these cars knows what that means.
Looks great as is, no need for badges.

I got a firehawk and I think regular trans ams and formulas look bad ass as they are. It would look better with the firehawk rims though.
