Ok, when I listen to my monsoon system at loud-extreme volume, sometimes after a couple of songs, it just stops playing. Like, the radio is still on, but nothing is coming out of the speakers. I have to turn the radio off for about 10-15 seconds and then turn it back on. When I turn it back on, the volume is really low and I have to turn it back up. No error messages come on the stereo. Anyone ever had this happen? Why does it do that, or how did u fix it?

sounds like an overheating amp to me

Yeah...don't play it so loud.
Sorry, but the factory system doesn't have much power and isn't designed to run near full output for extended periods. I suppose you could try mounting a small 12V fan near the amp to aid with cooling. But you'll probably have to upgrade your system to get that kind of sustained volume. Believe me, you WILL blow your factory speakers before long running at high volume because of the distortion that the factory HU puts out.

i understand what you mean, i don't have the bass all the way up when its loud...oh well...they'll blow soon enough, haha...
