Stereo & Electronics - interior lamps

Ok, does anyone know how change how long the interior lamps stay on after you shut off the car and take the key out. When I leave my car and lock my doors, the lights stay on for like atleast 5 minutes and it is really starting to piss me off. I just want them to stay on for like 15 seconds the most after I leave the car. Does anyone know how to do this? TIA

Yea it definatlley stays on for ATLEAST 5 minutes. People always come up to me and tell me that my lights are on and I just say that my car is wierd like that.

I'm pretty sure there are instructions on how to change the length of time they stay on in your instruction manual. Mine did the same thing, but now, the lights go off as soon as you lock it.
