Small Block & Big Block Chevy Specific - How To Tighten 350 Oil Filter Stud

I just changed the Oil in my 97 Silverado. The part that the filter screws on to was so loose that I was able to remove it by hand. Is there a tool that allows you to tighten them? I got 2 nuts from a Hardware Store but it made it too thick to work with it.

Hell, i just made it work with whatever i could, i cannot remember what i did.
